We are Dundalk Simon Community, a branch of Dublin Simon Community. As a homeless charity, we aim to support our clients in accessing and retaining homes. We also assist in the health and well-being of our clients. Our food rescue hero, Selena Clarke, is the housekeeper for Dundalk Simon. She ensures that Dundalk Simon provides nutritious meals daily to our service users. With the help of FoodCloud, we continue to achieve this. The weekly donations we receive from Lidl, Aldi and Dunnes Stores help to ensure we can have a variety of meals on offer.  Selena runs a weekly cookery demonstration in our drop-in centre for our clients, past and present. We also host activity evenings, and with the excess FoodCloud donations, we enjoy treating our clients with the goodies donated. The continuous support of FoodCloud helps us stretch our budget, and we are extremely grateful for this. The attached photos are a pictorial story of my cookery demonstration.
